Last night I fell asleep about 6:30 when I got back to the room and woke up at 9:00 in time for the zoom with my friends . Then went back to sleep. I woke up about 5: 30 and went to the gym for an hour. The same as yesterday. Half an hour on the bike in half an hour on the elliptical.
Today I am hoping to make my flight arrangements to go home.
I tried to book my flights this morning from Asheville to San Diego. American doesn't come here so it has to be Delta. When the lady was helping me she said I'm not authorized to fly out of Asheville. They want me to fly out of Charlotte. But she would attempt to put in the Asheville departure and call me back if that doesn't work. I also got a call from DHS and they want to have Mary Rose contact me today to set up an eval tomorrow. When I called transportation about the car they say it needs to go back to Charlotte or I need to give them the name of who I'm turning it over to. I don't know who I'm turning it over to.
When I got to my work site, I discovered that the governor and possibly President Trump are coming to my site sometime between 10:00 and 2:00. Well I'm only here until 12. But who knows what I'll get to see.
These are some of the folks working here but there's all kinds of camera crews and other people running around here right now. I got to do an official nursing thing. Some guy cut his finger on the shower in the mobile shower. I got to clean it and put an official Band-Aid on it. It's the only nursing thing I've done in the last few days.
I got to shake hands with the governor of North Carolina.
Lunch had been sitting here since before I arrived. They with open the boxes at 1130-12
I had my salad and apple and they actually had chickpeas in the lunch so I had those too. Now I am off to my other site at the Baptist Church.
I called Fran to see about my eval. She will call me later today. I work tomorrow then go into the Ashville HQ Wednesday about 7 and start out processing.
At my other site at the Baptist Church, apparently the community has discovered that they are here and it was much busier today. One person dropped off 21 loads of laundry for another 19 loads of laundry, we distributed quite a bit of supplies. This is kind of rewarding and low stress.
