Oct 12th my first day

Good morning world! An little sleep goes a long way. My roommates are the shelter supervisors so they had to be there at 7, the other nurse's said to be there at 730, I went early to make sure I could find it. I woke up to frost on my window and I couldn't see . It took a bit for the defrosters and the windshield wipers to clear it . Then the tpms light came on. 3 tires are 26 one is 29psi.  They say it's ok.  They drove thru Hardee's so I joined in.  There is someone missing hearing aids so I guess that's my first job.
He needs both glasses and hearing aids and is requesting a walker.
Staffing wise there are currently 2 supervisors, 3 nurses, 1 paramedic but the 2 supervisors, and 2 nurses are leaving, they're is no night shift worker tonight. There is no staff to manage the food (feeding team), no staff to manage the shelter ( clean bathrooms, Sweep floors set up and clean cots...) the nurses were doing all that. I can't deal with medical stuff and do all the feeding and sheltering stuff.
Just got notified a family of 10 is coming. Noe we got some cots cleaned and some people moved to accommodate.
Just found out they are sending another nurse. Got a call from Fran saying we can decide who will do days and who will do nights. The nurses I relieved both did days only. If the 10 don't come, or if they do not look ill we will do the same. If nights is uncomfortable with the clients one of us will have to stay.
The family didn't show up. So we went to our lodging. The new nurse Rhonda is difficult. I tried a couple times to talk with her, to give a report, to let her know where things are and such, she kept finding other things she wanted to do. Her and the 4 new shelter workers don't know scia. And Rhonda doesn't know Dharma. They were giving a class on scia for the new people and I told her she should attend. She didn't. She was not wearing her name tag and I asked her to put it on. She didn't. She was mad at me for asking her to. The head honcho Steve Ciffi came. He apologized for not having a shelter manager for us. He told her to put it on.  I don't forsee a good relationship.
So we made a train and went back to the residence. The 3 others were told to find a cot in building b. It was not easy to find building b, but we did and said good night. I told them I am leaving at 630 to go to the shelter tomorrow. Apparently they're have been threats against FEMA, so they have been ordered to stand down. Stay in hotel rooms and not meet with clients. I slept in the hotbox it was 85 and could not be adjusted so the host told us to put on the window ac. Wow a combination.
